I count at least 4, in this thread alone.  I say this to my kids
regularly:  Your perception of their behaviour is not, by itself, always a
good rationale for yours.  Sometimes, in a community, when you work on
other people's stuff, they might also want to work on it or have input into
how it's done.  That's just the way it is.  Since no one person writes all
the code or maintains all the packages, it's *all* other people's stuff.
