With a long inactivity from upstream for years(http://gdesklets.de),
gdesklets reached level of obsolescence easily replaced by Gnome Shell
extensions and other variant from other desktop environment. The current
maintainer of gdesklets-citation bioinfornatics
<https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/packager/bioinfornatics/>(Jonathan Mercier)
agreed to retire gdesklets and its plugins from Fedora 21 and upward
effective immediately.

I will leave branches from F19 and F20 orphan should a new maintainer be
