the response did go to Nico Kadel-Garcia which proposed the alternatives system
dnf as an alternative to yum. Dnf is its successor. Yum is deprecated by dnf in F22 and is very likely going to be removed in one of the next releases.For releases I expect it to be functional. I use rawhide for several years already, so I am used to stuff breaking. The problem is that fedora-review and/or mock were broken for more than two months, see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1208912 so I was using -o--yum
that are bugs which needs to be solved and not worked around by introduce alternatives which are *not* suitebale for proposed *replacements*
