Coming back around to this... I have made sure that gnome-software wasn't already running, did appstream-util validate (no relaxed and fixed all output), and I still can't get it to show up in gnome-software after installing the resultant RPM...
Any other ideas? I would really like a method to visually review the results prior to building official packages. Thanks, Richard
