We have completed making backups of everything in grinch:/mnt/filer. Accordingly we are planning to take down grinch at noon EDT Saturday May 3, 2008 to install the new disks into the coraid 1521 array. Grinch will be up and down unpredictably over the weekend so please don't plan to do anything substantial on it.
We plan to restore grinch filer service by 09:00 EDT Monday, May 5, 2008. crank (dev) including trac and git, pedal including mail and mailing lists, solar, activation, download, office connectivity, phones will not be affected.
