At least an attempt at a feature :-)

Correct -- we have /var/cache/yum in a tmpfs.

I suspect we should drop that particular tmpfs. Does it buy us
anything we desire? Users save ~80MB of diskspace and some wear, but
they have to download the files *everytime*. (Our frozen repos should
ensure that isn't necessary...

And yum becomes pretty usable, without OOM'ing the machine. I just ran
a few yum jobs on an XO-1 after unmounting the tmpfs.
