We should :-/ > Tried to recompile the 3.0-wip kernel on the XO-1.75/os9 (only takes 2 hours :-) where among other things sound and usb was build as a module, and got: Kernel: arch/arm/boot/zImage is ready Building modules, stage 2. MODPOST 308 modules ERROR: "alc5631_spkr_mute" [sound/soc/mmp/snd-soc-olpc-xo-1-75.ko] undefined! ERROR: "usb_disconnect" [drivers/usb/host/ehci-hcd.ko] undefined! make[1]: *** [__modpost] Error 1 make: *** [modules] Error 2 For the "usb_disconnect" appears to be a patch in newer kernels (I'll test it). As far as I understand "alc5631_spkr_mute" was introduced as a solution to #11409 by John Nettleton. I was wondering if this is related to the incompatible headers or with the patch itself. If you could spare 2 minutes I would appreciate any pointers because 2 hours is a long time ;) Thx > > > m > -- > martin.langh...@gmail.com > mar...@laptop.org > -- Software Architect - OLPC > - ask interesting questions > - don't get distracted with shiny stuff - working code > first > - http://wiki.laptop.org/go/User:Martinlanghoff > _______________________________________________ Devel mailing list Devel@lists.laptop.org http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/devel
