I will need time and experiments to put together such a piece of software (and 
FPGA design). Furthermore, there is currently no logic in the FPGA to drive 
some parts (USB, Video in, ...) and I will need to develop that.
So, for now, I just need a prototype to do this work. We must of course try to 
get the board 100% correct the first time, but if it still has a few PCB 
errors, they won't be a show-stopper as I can do SMT rework.

Ok, this would be a good idea. Just don't put test points on the SDRAM pins, 
I'm afraid they might degrade the signals and we already have an easy access 
to them via the termination resistors and the TSOP pins.
