No, we're not planning on an assembler replacement but the LLVM-MC
project may mean that one falls out of the mix.
Are there issues with the current assembler/linker? I noticed it
appears to be CGEN based. Is that true? I don't know how CGEN works so
I don't know if the CGEN description is actually used by binutils.
