Please write your questions or comments here: We are using the ADV7181 with a
composite video signal and 28.63636MHz crystal. We program the registers using
the list given p.88 of the datasheet. The circuit works fine when the video
signal is present during the programming, however, if the video is disconnected
and connected back, the ADV7181 often fails to acquire it again.
When this happens, the status register indicates that no video signal is
detected. What steps can we take to track down this problem?
