Welcome to the world of ADI "support"... Last year (around February) I asked for some clarification on the ADV7125's requirements for voltage references. FOUR MONTHS later, this is what I got back: > I am sorry but we are unable to provide support to you and your > project with the ADV7125. > > This part is a special product with extensive support requirements. > Unfortunately support cannot be provided to all of our customers. > > I apologize in the name of Analog Devices and hope you are in an early > product selection stage so far. > > Best regards > > Bernhard Siegel > European Linear Support Group. > Central Applications Manager > Analog Devices I've used CPUs with more exacting support requirements. FYI, the 7125 is an 8-bit RGB DAC. By contrast, I've had great tech support from Texas Instruments. Posted a query on their E2E forum, and one of their engineers got back to me within a day or so. Problem solved PDQ, and I bought a tube of the part in question (a PLL). "This is how you do it, folks!" -- Phil.
