I guess that's the same, or should be :) Wolfgang has asked on
#milkymist how to make people who see a performance aware of the
Milkymist name. VJs go clubbing, too :-)

One possibility would be to have a means to include it in the
performance. It's not uncommon to occasionally display information
about the on-going show (name of the DJ, VJ, etc.) and such, so a
"powered by milkymist" or whatever, if nicely done, might be
something a VJ would consider to include to help us. Maybe we
could even gets VJs to design patches that show off the Milkymist
name in an attractive way.

A flexible and reasonably straightforward way to get title cards
and such into a presentation should be via images. Perhaps this
could be handled like the inclusion of a camera frame, maybe with
a list/array of images to select from.

I don't know the patching language well enough yet to be able to
tell if this would really be a good fit, but at least from the
way some patches use video in, this ought to work and allow for a
decent amount of flexibility.

Images would also have the benefit that their generation can be
nicely outsourced. No need for fancy font rendering in
Flickernoise or such.

I think it would be nice if the M1 could illuminate its ports.
This would also allow for configuration feedback, e.g.,

- no light = port currently not used
- light constantly on = port used and good signal available
- rapidly blinking light = port used but signal has issues

or the other way around, with

- light constantly on = port used but signal has issues
- light blinking/flashing = activity

A few LEDs ought to do the trick, hopefully without too much of an
impact of the power budgets. Maybe something for rc4 or such. And
then someone has to extend the software ;-)
