Pleeeaase, help us doing it :-) As soon as the rc3 dust settles on Adam's side (I think in a few weeks), Adam will most actively work on rc4, and we try to get as many improvements in there as possible. We may even try to squeeze the change from vga to dvi-i connector into rc4, although that would require us to make new side panels. LEDs for the ports are fine with me, they add little cost and if someone doesn't like them you could simply keep them off. I don't know how many FPGA pins we still have, if we also consider some expensive new ideas like dvi-i, wider expansion ports, dual head, touchpad, etc. We should not add anything that Sebastien thinks damages the product.
