YOU RULE!!! This is great stuff Sebastien! This made my week! What are
you thinking about GUI elements?
What GUI elements are you thinking about?
Except for imagefileN, all parameters can be used in per-frame equations. A
patch can have up to 2 images, N=1 and N=2.
Is that arbitrary limit or some resource limitation?
It's a resource limitation due to the poor preallocation of registers in
per-frame equations, which I intend to fix so we can have more images,
DMX channels, MIDI channels, etc.
I guess if want a sequence of images can just have a simple patch with
diff. image in each patch an advance through each patch to change
images.
This feature isn't intended for slide shows, but for making patches more
beautiful. But yes, you can do it this way.
BTW, and this is a lack of understanding on my part, how can
one control the transitions between images?
I'd say by having a patch that has the two images and transitions
between the two (with alpha, zoom, and whatever other parameters)
