Yes, use Ethernet and FTP. It's actually very simple! (and works also for software update files, so you do not have to mess with JTAG anymore) You just need to set a login and password in the GUI, and connect to the M1's IP address with a FTP client (gftp, filezilla, ...). The IP address is displayed in the "System Settings" dialog box, and you also set the login/password from there.
