Wait.. you `./libtool --config' output has: | # Libtool was configured on host crowe.devel.redhat.com: That's presumably from /usr/bin/libtool, and contains gcc as compiler instead of pgcc. Let's see the output from $top_builddir/libtool. Cheers, Ralf
