I'm working in OpenWRT Attitude Adjustment beta 2 on a the PicoStation 2HP (ath5k).

I can't seem to bring up a mesh interface successfully. It looks like it works:

root@OpenWrt:~# iw phy phy0 interface add mesh0 type mp mesh_id ayrmesh
root@OpenWrt:~# ifconfig mesh0
mesh0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:15:6D:7C:BB:1C
          BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:32
          RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:0 (0.0 B)

root@OpenWrt:~# iw mesh0 info
Interface mesh0
        ifindex 7
        wdev 0x4
        addr 00:15:6d:7c:bb:1c
        type mesh point
        wiphy 0
channel 11 (2462 MHz) NO HT

But the radio never comes on. I have a laptop running Kismet and some PicoStation M2s (I like Ubiquiti...) running just fine. So I know what it looks like when the mesh i/f comes up (it creates a "no ssid" AP on Kismet), and nothing comes up from the PicoStation 2HPs.

I can create a normal AP on the 2HPs, it's just the mesh that's not working (hence the mail to this list).

Any ideas?
