Thank you for the suggestion. I did try ifconfig mesh0 up, but it made
no difference.
Ifconfig shows mesh0 active, but the transmitted/received packets are
always 0 and the AP never shows up on Kismet.
I have tried this on the PicoStation M2 (ath9k), and it works perfectly.
It smells like an ath5k/802.11s problem, unless I'm not seeing
something. Which, of course, is quite possible.
Just to be sure, I have set up a single "normal" AP on it and even two
concurrent APs. All seems to work well - I just can't seem to get a mesh
AP running on this.
