I have been trying to compile pristine upstream SVN source without success for a while now.
# make samba-git sometimes goes thro' but most of the time cannot find references to samba_re_initialise(). I comment out the code in samba4/lib/util/util_runcmd.c and also in samba4/source4/smbd/process_standard.c and I finish the samba compilation I am sure with deleterious runtime results. But I could not get that far... I later find that the IDL generated in openchange compilation compiling gen_ndr/ndr_exchange_c.c would never go through. It cannot find any symbol. Please find the log here. ftp://64.85.171.142/upload/f.txt What am I doing wrong? I am trying this on Debian Lenny box freshly installed.
