Hi, Good news first: - it is definitely possible to build a working Samba4/Openchange installation on Ubuntu 12.04, have no experience with CentOS .
Bad news: - none of the guides out there seems to be complete and error-free so to get to working system you must combine information from various sources and understand what you are doing in each step. To get to working system I used both openchange cookbook and iabsis article with addition of sogo outlook setup PDF documentation. I will write a complete tutorial based on iabsis packaged install guide on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS when I have a bit of time …. … just quickly from memory, problematic parts which you should concentrate on were: - IMAP server setup - dovecot - missing vmail user creation - missing openchange_newuser step where user accounts are enabled Hope this helps, Martin.
