Good. That's consistent with the other findings.

The key to failure seems to be that the AP changes. I've been
throwing various things at my setup at home (long uptime, tin
foil hats, power-cycling the AP), and as long as I didn't kill
wpa_supplicant or tried to switch APs, it always came back fine
and the network scan remained sane as well.

This narrows down the search quite a bit.
