Hi all, a few days ago the google summer of code [1] program started again. Should be perhaps participate this year in this program? Applications are due until 12. March.
Basically what is needed are: 1. Some ideas - brief explanation - the expected results - pre-requisites for working on your project - if applicable, links to more information or discussions - mailing list or IRC channel for your application/library/module - your name and email address for contact (if you're willing to be a mentor) 2. Mentors Some people that want to mentor a student and provide feedback for the assignment. Ideally this is the person that also submit the respecitive idea. 3. Students (of course) :-) Capable and motivated students that want to get insight into the development of our favorite SIP server.. 4. "Administrator" A single person that acts as interface between google and the project.
