I confirm that the error is now gone, I just did a kernel-switch to the
linux-3.0 kernel and it did not complain for that anymore.
eselect kernel list shows the correct kernel.

Out of curiosity, I tested the 2.6.39 kernel, to check if I still have a
GUI with the ATI drivers (the ati-drivers/ati-userspace split), it was a
success, it works nicely.

The only curious thing that I went into, is this one:
eselect kernel list
Available kernel symlink targets:
  [1]   linux-2.6.39-sabayon
  [2]   linux-3.0-sabayon
  [3]   linux-3.0.0-sabayon *

the kernel-switch didn't remove the linux-3.0-sabayon target, is it
because I did a kernel-switcher switch having the 3.0 kernel already
installed?
