Hi Joe, Still alive, but I reached a point of frustration last spring, especially after my irc box wouldn't stay up. So instead of fighting the system, I just went on doing my thing, mostly my spins and a couple bug reports. Recently people been wondering if I was upset with anyone in the project, which I am not. Just some of the practices within the project. I have a life too, I can't sit at an irc window all day waiting for a ping. Messages were getting lost and it was just too much. Sabayon can not grow, people can not get work done watching IRC all day n night. People can't expect instant gratification through IRC.
We need a policy in place for communication work flow, simple as that and needs to be followed by all. :) On Wed, Sep 14, 2011 at 5:28 AM, Josef Odenthal <[email protected]>wrote: > I was wondering if you was still in the land of the living, good to see > that you are > > Agree with your proposal > > I personnel do not use IRC because I am a slow reader and even slower on > the keyboard, everyone would just get even more cheesed off with me > > Joe > > > > -- Kelly Schwartz ~wolfden~
