I've had a minor issue for some time where the consolefont rc service
is garbling the scrollback on my console. It looks like it's changing
it to Cyrillic.

All new text to the console is OK, but it clobbers the messages before
consolefont is run.

Our default consolefont setting is:
consolefont="LatArCyrHeb-16"

Does this selection give us some kind of l10n or i18n capability over
"default8x16"?

If so, is there some configuration setting that is supposed to cause
this font to auto-magically display correctly for the locale detected?

In terms of the appearance, I don't see anything special about
"LatArCyrHeb-16" (except that is mangles the scrollback). I can't
distinguish the difference between "default8x16" and "LatArCyrHeb-16".

For my taste, I find "alt-8x16" or "Lat2-Terminus16" more interesting
(at least it's something different).

Otherwise. We should find a way to make "LatArCyrHeb-16" work correctly.
