Hi Fabian, unfortunately the problem became well known after the rollout, unfortunately we don't have so much testers. Besides that, the KDE announced SDDM as their official LM, so we put some trust also in those words.
We are now considering to switch to a different LM in the next KDE release (15.11) , the discussion is still open because the choice isn't so obvious: e.g. Lightdm is stable but doesn't ship a qt5 greeter (that would bloat the ISO size) meanwhile lxdm in some systems is considered buggy (but personally i didn't had problem with SDDM either). what i can suggest is to switch the LM for now, or trying to boot in Safe graphic mode, that uses just open source drivers.
