Hi all, I have installed the debs available for samba4 (august 12), samba4-libs (july 18) and libmapi (august 12) from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/msuman:/evolution-mapi-provider/Debian_Etch/i386/
then installed evolution-mapi (august 12) from RPMs using alien from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/msuman:/evolution-mapi-provider/Fedora_9/i386/ After pointing to the samba4 libs, I can create a MAPI account with diffulty. The first time I try, I get this in terminal New Note 52 exchange-mapi-account-setup.c(401):org_gnome_exchange_mapi_account_setup:Called for URL->Protocol : exchange exchange-mapi-account-setup.c(401):org_gnome_exchange_mapi_account_setup:Called for URL->Protocol : imap exchange-mapi-account-setup.c(374):org_gnome_exchange_mapi_account_setup:Creating Widgets for MAPI Setup exchange-mapi-account-setup.c(401):org_gnome_exchange_mapi_account_setup:Called for URL->Protocol : mapi e-data-server-ui-Message: Unable to find password(s) in keyring (Keyring reports: No matching results) e-data-server-ui-Message: Key file does not have group 'Passwords-ExchangeMAPI' Create profile with ttreau### E####### (****) sb rex1.intranet.epfl.ch ** (evolution:13775): WARNING **: Profile Database creation failed (evolution:13775): e-data-server-ui-WARNING **: Unable to find password(s) in keyring (Keyring reports: No matching results) THEN Second time, it works: e-data-server-ui-Message: Unable to find password(s) in keyring (Keyring reports: No matching results) e-data-server-ui-Message: Key file does not have group 'Passwords-ExchangeMAPI' Create profile with ttr####### E####### (****) sb rex1.intranet.epfl.ch profpath /home/nt271/.evolution/mapi-profiles.ldb [exchange_mapi_plugin] Profile creation Logging into the server Login succeeded: Yeh libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-connection.c(129): exchange_mapi_connection_new: lock(connect_lock) exchange-mapi-connection.c(74): Entering mapi_profile_load Loading profile [EMAIL PROTECTED] exchange-mapi-connection.c(115): Leaving mapi_profile_load libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-connection.c(132): exchange_mapi_connection_new: unlock(connect_lock) libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-connection.c(137): exchange_mapi_connection_new: Connected libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-folder.c(132): exchange_mapi_peek_folder_list: lock(folder_lock) exchange-mapi-connection.c(2694): Entering exchange_mapi_get_folders_list libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-connection.c(2696): exchange_mapi_get_folders_list: lock(connect_lock) OpenMsgStore : MAPI_E_CALL_FAILED (0x80004005) libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-connection.c(2761): exchange_mapi_get_folders_list: unlock(connect_lock) exchange-mapi-connection.c(2763): Leaving exchange_mapi_get_folders_list (evolution:13775): libexchangemapi-WARNING **: Get folders list call failed \u0007 libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-folder.c(135): exchange_mapi_peek_folder_list: unlock(folder_lock) The seems to work so I enabled automatic checking every 2 minutes, apply. Then if I try to click on the arrow next to my Exchange account to open the folders, I get: camel-mapi-store.c(158):camel_mapi_store_get_type:Reached camel-mapi-store.c(1012):mapi_folders_sync:Reached exchange-mapi-connection.c(2694): Entering exchange_mapi_get_folders_list libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-connection.c(2696): exchange_mapi_get_folders_list: lock(connect_lock) OpenMsgStore : MAPI_E_CALL_FAILED (0x80004005) libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-connection.c(2761): exchange_mapi_get_folders_list: unlock(connect_lock) exchange-mapi-connection.c(2763): Leaving exchange_mapi_get_folders_list (evolution:13775): camel-mapi-provider-WARNING **: Could not get folder list.. camel-mapi-store.c(158):camel_mapi_store_get_type:Reached Whatever I do next, it won't get the folder list or the calendar. As a side note, when I tried yesterday (without taking notes), I was able to get the folder list once (can't reproduce this unfortunately). But while I had the folder list, I did some tests to receive emails. I did receive emails that were send to my exchange server but they ended up showing into my gmail Inbox account, weird! From a Microsoft bulleting regarding error (0x80004005), it seems I may be missing some system folders or something... not sure. Any help very appreciated!
