It is a notebook with integrated graphics. You can find them in compaq/hp laptops these days. I have a friend with one and I was supposed to sit down with him to see what I could do with it, but I haven't had time yet. I do believe it is based on the radeon core and so in theory it will most likely work out of the box if it just knows what it is. Whoever is messing around with it now, trying forcing the ChipID to a known radeon mobility chip to see if it will work out of the box for the most part. If we know it will work or not ... then we should take the next step of adding it or what not. On another note, I am not sure if just claiming a range of ids is wise. The variations between chipsets (mobile or regular) could cause potential issues. I could be overly conservative ... I would rather see releases of XFree86 happening more then 1 time a year and we wouldn't have to worry about hacks of claiming range of PCI ids and what not.
