I had the same problem, but I solved it with the changing of the keyboard-model:
setxkbmap -model pc102 I also tried to change this in /etc/X11/XF6Config but it didn't worked. For some unexpected reason the X-Server doesn't pay attention to the config-file. I was not able to change the model or even the language.
