The main thing holding up the release is me completing a blog post[1]. The two NVs in SUB_CALLERS are a higher priority than extra_items in SUB_INFO. I'd be happy to see them removed if you're offering :) [extra_items in SUB_INFO was meant for future-proofing but that should really be done by a once-off header item that says "in this version of the data stream tags of type X have Y items".
