Dear f265 Developers,
My name is Hristo Hristov. I'm a GNU Linux developer with experience
mainly in server-side network programming. Projects I've participated in
range from "low-level" C network daemons to large and always hungry
"high-level" Java deployments.
As every developer, I also want to extend my knowledge in different and
interesting aspects of software development - I'm mainly interested in
parallel/concurrent programming and data processing. My particular
interested in f265 project is partly because my current company have
started a cdn project, but mainly because f265 is a low-level project
where I can learn a lot for media processing directly from the source.
Currently I'm going through the " Getting into development" section of
the site. I must say that the official ITU H.265 documentation is quite
hard to read for a new-comer like me, so I'm focusing mainly on the
h265_companion.html. In this sense and my 1st newbie question - Is the
previous version of the specification (I'm referring the book MPEG video
compression standard) more suitable for a getting-into terms of the
project?
So If there is a need for a want-to-learn developer like me, I'll be
glad to participate in the project.
Please find attached my cla.txt file.
Kind regards,
Hristo Hristov
