Thanks!  I read/skimmed most of that today--I guess I had seen some of that 
some time before and forgot it existed.

That reminded me of the Motif books that are available on-line--I'm in the 
process of downloading Vols. 6A and 6B and we'll then spend some time at 
least skimming those.  That may fulfill some of my "appetite" for nedit 
internals (well, I know that's really Motif (and some X), but that's probably 
some of what I have to have a better handle on to continue.
