I didn't mean that. I was speaking about the legal side, and you have solved it. If your code does bidi, that's fine. And it may even be used by some other project that tries to avoid the LGPL library, as you have done. I am definitely biased here, as I happen to like the GPL and relatives. Some here do prefer less restrictive licenses, as the FreeBSD guys will tell you. I see that Behdad has given some specific advice on coding issues. He is much better informed on that respect. Probably you will do the testing at least, for now.
