As it turns out, if you put the .pfa font file GV's font directory GV will view the .PS fine /usr/share/ghostscript/Resource/Font/ This means that the .PS file has a problem with the embedded font although both are identical (i.e the embedded font and the external one in GV's font dir) Can someone shed the light on what could be the problem ? Any help at all :) ak.
