i do original setup by virt-manager - attach ISO and setup - the same logic
what is using by others who try to do setup another illumos distribution to Xen
environment.
if you do anything else - you should provide details - how to try to do another
setup - how to hack system before setup - you didn’t do it.

i just provided info - how i loaded new build to xen-4.8 environment - just
rolled back one commit and produced debug build - nothing else.

my email contain all info about my tests.
you can try to do the same - revert commit - prepare OI iso - and try to load
it to xen-4.10 or another - by original steps: attach ISO and install system to
hard drive and boot from it.
