Dear OpenZFS, I am happy to announce that support for both
- copying existing bookmarks and - channel program support for creating & copying bookmarks have been merged to ZFS on Linux in https://github.com/zfsonlinux/zfs/pull/9571 Support for copying bookmarks is needed for race-free resumable send+recv in zrepl (see replication/design.md in https://github.com/zrepl/zrepl/pull/259). Channel program support for creating & copying bookmarks was a fairly small implementation effort and should be (more?) useful to the broader ZFS community. I was unaware of the policy to announce ongoing PRs to this list for feedback from other platforms and apologize for any potential fixups if they will be needed.
