Hey All, happy Fir eve to you! <smile>

I've excerpted a message I'd just sent along to a friend of mine and I thought I'd send this here as well. This issue is perplexing me, and as I'm not a huge terminal gal, I'd really love love love whatever input y'all can give me! <smile>

Anyway, here is part of my note.

Have a great evening / weekend All! Catch ya l8rs!

CQ :)

In order to build Audio Quake on the Mac, I need to build SDL. When I try this, however, I get an error which says that my c preprocessor fails a sanity check. This is really perplexing and just plain obnoxious! lol! Furthermore, the 'config.log' file that the error references, doesn't bloody well exist on my system!… This is HELLA annoying! <smile>

I have the latest Dev tools and everything looks good except that I keep getting this blasted error! I've been in touch with Audio Quake's originator, and we've been trying to track this down. He builds it on his PPC Mac with Leopard, for both Tiger and Leopard - intel and ppc, however, when I try cross-compiling I get the above craziness.

I've been able to Google this and others do seem to have it from time to time, however, I, so far, haven't seen a solution. I've included below, my terminal session just to see if anything might stand out to you. Or, if I can do this particular step in XCode, I'd even like it better! <smile> However, Matthew is a huge terminal guy, and he's the one responsible for creating AQ in the first place, so I'm kind'a going on his steps for the time being.

Anyway, without further ado, here be the session! <smile>

Catch ya l8rs, and hope you and yours are having an absolutely FANTASTIC lovely and warm beautiful Friday evening! woohoo!…

Smiles,

CQ :)
