Hey All;

I'm currently coding a Java app in Swing and am really wanting the ability to tab between GUI controls and to have VO read the contents of edit fields which the user is focused upon, as the contents change. Actually more specifically, it would be even nicer to have scrollable list or text areas read as the user arrows within them.

While my current GUI is accessible it's just not as comfortable to use as I'd like.

  I'm wondering a few things which I'd love love love any feedback on…

• would using SWT take care of my above issues so that my GUI would act more like a native Cocoa L/F with VO?

• Is anyone successfully using Eclipse with VO, and is it possible to use SWT outside of Eclipse. I'd think so…

• Lastly, if these aren't good options, is there a way to have the system self voice these controls I'm concerned with via Java? - Perhaps with Java-Cocoa?…

Thanks very much for any feedback, and have a lovely day / weekend, All!…

Smiles,

Cara  :)
