This was a tool written by Delphix, and made a bit more newbie-friendly by me.

        http://kebe.com/~danmcd/webrevs/zmake/

The "zmake" command takes a directory, or tries and figure it out from pwd
using git. It will build what is needed to confirm OpenZFS changes work on
illumos-gate. This has been tested on OmniOS and OpenIndiana (using an ONUed
illumos-gate).

Its target audience is OpenZFS folks who AREN'T normally illumos developers.
It's a reality check. Delphix has a companion script that will take the build
results of this and install them. I believe THAT needs additional work to use
either beadm(1M) or other distro-specific magic to do the right thing.
