I agree. Like many members of the public I don't get to talk to many MPs or
do so very often, so my sample is too small to use to extrapolate. I suspect
my MP (if I met her) might actually listen to me and I hear positive things
about others.

Is there a constructive way we can encourage/push MPs to listening better? I
take the point (made by someone else) that their powers are often limited
(and that's another problem) but MPs might find listening to MOTPs useful.
