We'd prefer you to actually live in (or have an address in) the
constituencies you volunteer for, on the basis that other tasks will
most likely involve some element of locality. For example, collecting
election leaflets for TheStraightChoice.com requires you to be able to
receive said leaflets, and thinking of questions to submit to election
candidates requires knowing the area's concerns.
I've personally signed up for my home town and my university town, and
someone else might sign up for their constituency and a neighboring
constituency if they know it well - those are the sort of situations in
which with envisage people having multiple constituencies.
I imagine if data for a task can be collected by anyone, then it'll just
be the case that anyone can contribute regardless of constituency.

Is it essential for people to need to live near a constituency in order to research it? Wont most of it be done online? So for example you seem to be oversubscribed in the constituencies that I have signed up for (London) - would it be better if I dropped them and picked up 5 that don't have anybody?
