I'm not sure I'd be happy with elected officials paying for a service
which is going to allow what will mostly be propaganda to be
distributed to a fairly small proportion of the electorate (it may be
really cool, but actually the vast majority of voters don't have an
iphone, and those that do probably "need" a service like this least).
Obviously MPs can pay for what they like, but somehow a lot of
personal expenditure seems to end up coming out of the public purse.

Sorry, I'm just suspicious of a company with a clause (headed "data
protection") like this in their T&C's:

"Public Zone is a limited company incorporated in England and is
registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. All personal
information you supply to us will be treated in accordance with that
Act."

Indeed.
