While I agree on the point of a limited number of people having access to
iPhones and it's value as a product, the T&Cs you picked up on:

Sorry, I'm just suspicious of a company with a clause (headed "data
protection") like this in their T&C's:

"Public Zone is a limited company incorporated in England and is
registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. All personal
information you supply to us will be treated in accordance with that
Act."*

The Data Protection Act is a legal requirement for any company who holds
digital data about people, and gives you the right to get access to that
information and update it if it's incorrect.
