I find it very hard (impossible) to see how hitching the trading funds, which 
have always used their for-profit status as an excuse (albeit a legally backed 
one, so they're hands are tied, poor dears) to some new vehicle for the 
publishing of government data (at least the 3rd or 4th over the last decade) 
which also has a 'sweat the assets' commercial mandate can be a good thing.

Or am I missing something?

Does mysociety as an org have a position on the PDC?
