There's been discussion recently about the fact that FixMyStreet is
not always popular with councils, to put it mildly.

Here's a nice news story that pretty much entirely relies on
FixMyStreet as a source:

At the end, the council say "However, we would urge drivers to report
any faults to us directly using our dedicated hotline, which ensures
the right team gets the information as soon as possible".

Which only goes to show why reporting these things in public is such a
good thing.  There's been discussion recently about adding new
categorisation tags to reports; why don't we offer to add a "potholes"
tag especially for Glasgow Council so the right team gets the
information as soon as possible?!
