Really? Any hosting service which runs SMTP on the server will
handle this. Is there any particular reason that you need to use an
external SMTP server rather than just using, say, PHP's mail()
function?

Well, I thought it rude to assume that the hosting company would also
act as an smtp relay. Am I wrong?
