Killing someone with a motor vehicle will usually not be deliberate

I quite agree (and even if it was deliberate, it's very easy to say "sorry, mate, didn't see you" and get off with "careless driving" due to momentary lack of attention). But someone has been killed, which to my mind is significantly more serious than attempting to hack into a computer.
