I have no plans changing editwizards or image-servlet right now, just having some thoughs on how it could have been better, figuring that if for someone the simplest solution for some problem would be to have two blob fields in a node, it would currently only turn out to not be possible (in a simple way). So, I gather that it makes a difference who you are what is the 'simplest thing', and I agree with Kees that logic and consistency is more important for MMBase to offer than simplicity of its implementation, and I indeed do think that a convention that the blob field must be one and named 'handle' is not logical, and perhaps not intuitively clear by everbody.
