I think we could ease the contribution process by making it easyer to contribute modules and give a bigger role to the relase team. That should work more like GNU/Linux direibutions work in the sence that the relase team makes choices onto what modules should become standard.
This is essentially what the applications proposal in the original invitation email was about.
Will cloudcontextsecurty ever become the standard security model?
Possibly. However since it adds builders and is thus not trivial to remove if you don't want it, we may better decide not to.
Will the email application replace the core code?
