You may punish me for this one, but eh, what's wrong with wordpress?
You can install that in 5 minutes and make a layout look different than
others in 10... It has every single feature you want, it's free, it's
out there and it's blazingly fast. Why would you want to rebuild that
in MMBase?
I agree. Check out Serendipity (http://www.s9y.org) too.

Hi,
If i Google on MMBase weblog i find a number of weblog applications
build on MMBase:
http://www.toly.net/index.jsp (open source)
http://q42.nl/archive/ (see Vrienden Zonder Grenzen live; probably not
open source)
http://bieslog.vpro.nl/programma/bieslog/index.jsp (open source, but not
downloadable)
They seem to provide the basic weblog functionality. But what i am
looking for is a weblog with extended functionality like WordPress
(http://wordpress.org/) with features like:
-multiple authors
-multiple categories
-spam protection
-post to future
-post by email
-email notification
-rss
-trackback
-pingback
Did somebody already build an MMBase weblog with extended functionality
or is somebody planning to do so? Any reactions are welcome. Thanks.
Kind regards, Henk
